Childish is more pejorative, when used for adults, whereas child-like can mean playful, innocent, etc.

A childish person is a person above the age of a child who behaves like a child - lacking in reason, and usually regarded as a negative term.; A childlike person is a person who is to all appearances innocent and perhaps naive.
