    Default Supposed

    Scenario 1:

Today I am working at 8:00PM and right now it's 11:00AM. And I say:

    1. I am supposed to work later.
    2. I was supposed to work later. (Is 'was' incorrect, here? Is it because 8:00PM has not past yet? Or is it because of 'later'? Or both?)

    Thanks.
