    Stuck on Possessive nouns

Hi Im getting confused with this exercise which is asking me to identify the subject as either:

    A) possessive form or
    B) whether it uses the possessive plural form

    1. The boy's toy = A
    2. The girls' school=
    3. The mice's cage= A
    4. The countries' leaders=
    5. The man's pyjamas= A
    6. The teacher's books=
    7. The child's parents=
    8. Deirdre's company=
    9. Children's games=
    10. The woman's hats= B
    11. The employees' office=
    12. My daughters' children=

I've tried a few but I am still confused, I would be very grateful if you could help me, thanks in advance.

    Re: Stuck on Possessive nouns

    (1) To form the plural, add -s:

My friend (singular) => My friends (plural)
The rose (singular) => The roses (plural)

    (2) Some words don't take -s. They change form:

The child (singular) => The children (plural)
The woman (singular) => The women (plural)

    (3) To form the possessive, add -'s:

My friend (singular) => My friend's (singular, possessive)
My friends (plural) => My friends' (plural, possessive)

The child (singular) => The child's (singular, possessive)
The children (plural) => The children's (plural, possessive)

    (4) If the word already ends in -s, then don't add another -'s, just add '.

The roses (plural) => The roses' (plural, possessive)
James (singular, name) => James' (singular, possessive)
