Default "platform 3" or "track 3"

    Hello

Is this platform 3 or track 3?

    Thank you.

In British English it's 'platform'; but in the song 'Chattanooga Choo-choo' they use the word 'track' - which leads me to suspect it's Am E.

Bob K. is correct. As an American English speaker, I would say "track three", and that is what one can expect to hear in announcements at a train station here.
