    Hi ..
    How can i say this sentence in astonishment:

    My brother has had a child.

    Is it right to say: my brother has had a child? O my gurd!!!
    OR
    my brother has a child?.. O my gurd!!!!

    Hi, I am 'The French' I am not a teacher, but what is this word 'gurd'.

    I think if you want to show your astonishement, why you don't write simply the following sentence:

    Oh my good, my brother has had a child! (the exclamation mark at the end show us your stupefaction).

    Whats gurd? God???

    You can write like this as well:

    My brother has had a child, oh my God!

    or, as I have seen in some sentences, you can simply use:

    Oh great! My brother has had a child!


    Maybe a teacher will help you better, and if I have written wrong, please correct as well!

    Another way could be : My God! My brother has had a child!
