    Question turn away or turn up

    -Which word to choose here in the following sentence?

    -When you are watching TV, do you ever turn away/up when something is extremely frightening or exciting?

    -I think it's turn away.

    You turn away from something frightening.
    Generally, being excited is seen as a good thing, unless it is so exciting that it makes you anxious.
