    Arrow Keep the stomach empty

    Hi.

Please check this sentence, is it appropriate to use "keep your stomach empty"?

John, you have a digestive problem so you cannot keep your stomach empty, but should eat something every two hours.

How would a native speaker express the same thought?

    Thanks

    Re: Keep the stomach empty

An empty stomach will aggravate your problem, so you must remember to eat something every two hours.
