    Usage of Already

I wonder if it is OK to use "already" with present and present continuous tenses?

For example, can I say "I am working already" instead of " I have been working"?

    Thanks for help.

    Sure.

The boss yells, "Hey! Get to work there!"

    You answer, "I'm already working!"

You say "I am already doing something" when you want to claim that you started at a prior time, so it works for "I have been doing that all along."
