The atmosphere was sharp and super-focussed.

    Anything...please!

Seriously. If you sincerely feel you need something beyond focused—that focused just doesn't quite do it for you, make us feel it in some other way.

The absence of context limits the range of suggestions, but here's an example of what I mean:

"The atmosphere was so sharp and focused that when Johnson cleared his throat, he may as well have thrown a cinder block through the window of the conference room."

I mean I have to translate this sentence to my language and which word I can use instead of super-focussed. Can you tell me a clearer word for I can understand better this sentence?

Maybe it means everybody concentrated or pure attention or something like that?

Do you mean someone else used the word super-focused and you have to translate it into some other language? In that case, pretend the writer used the word focused, because that's what he should have written. Translate it to whatever word your language uses for focused.

    Greg

Now I'm not even sure if I clearly understand what the problem is. Do you understand the meaning of the word focused?

"The atmosphere was sharp and super-focussed.
I recognised a few of the top gymnasts from the year before
and pointed out a couple of neat up-and-comers to Pip. They
had matching ponytails, matching long-sleeved leotards,

and a matching drive to beat everyone around them."

In my language, focus infers to concentrate.
In this context, focus infers to concentrate or some other meaning?

Yes, that's about right. Everybody was concentrating on what they were dong and on the competition that was apparently about to begin. They were preparing both physically and mentally to perform at their very best. Yes, the atmosphere was focused. Everybody was concentrating very hard.

Your last post should have been your first.
