    correction of a few sentences 3

    Dear teachers,

    Would you be kind enough to share with me your opinion concerning the feasibility of the following sentences?

    The scientist had all the necessary equipment at his disposal.
    The execution leave to high disposal.
    A domestic affair of great importance, which is no less than the disposal of my sister Jenny for life.
    A damaged test instrument that reads incorrectly is worse than having no instrument at all.
    That arrangement was, above all, most useful for providing extra power.
    After all, a nonmetal may possess one or more characteristics typical of metals.
    First of all, we have to examine the data available.
    The theory was abandoned long ago.
    Before long, the investigation of this electromagnetic effect was accomplished.
    There came a stage when people no longer regarded flight as a supernatural phenomenon.
    The product of the pressure by the volume of driven mass of gas is constant as long as the temperature does not change.
    Some phenomena were applied long before they were understood.
    An atom is made up of a nucleus and one or more electrons.
    We have to make up for the loss of oxygen due to the drop of pressure with increasing altitude.
    Steel is inferior in strength to some plastics.
    Kinetic energy is energy due to motion.
    Ionization of the upper atmosphere is due to Sun's ultraviolet radiation.
    Due to centrifugal forces, bodies at the equator weight less than they weight at the poles.

    OK, This is a line from John Milton’s “Samson Agonistes” meaning: The execution lies in other hand for disposal.

    To measure the gravitational force the verb is weigh.
