    1) a) I have lived in this house for ten years ago "I have lived in this house for ten years." We don't use "ago" with "for".

b)If would have answered one more question, I would have passed. "If I had..." or "If I could have..."
    c) He keeps in the bathroom Either he keeps something in the bathroom, his shaving kit perhaps, or he stays in the bathroom.

2)Can anyone explain what is the difference between these 2 sentences

    a) When Sue arrived, we had dinner We started dinner when Sue arrived.
    b) When Sue arrived, we had had dinner When Sue arrived we had finished dinner.

a)1- We have made absolutely no progress.
2 – If you want to progress, you will have to work harder. These are both ok.

Thanks very much if someone can help! Really appreciate it!

    Cheers!
