    Third person singular: the form of the verb whose subject is a single entity not the speaker or the addressee-- 'he, she, it, Mr. Jones, the Eiffel Tower, Beauty does, is, has', etc.

    Third person plural: the form of the verb whose subject is multiple entities not the speaker or the addressee-- 'they, the Joneses, The Nine Muses do, are, have', etc.
