Question Progress 'on' or 'of' the transformation?

Can you please tell me what the correct usage is for the following?

    Progress on the transformation

    or

    Progress of the transformation

Re: Progress 'on' or 'of' the transformation?

The can both be used. If the process isn't finished and work is going on to to get it ready, I'd use on. If the creation is complete and we're talking about the operation, I'd be more likely to use of.
