Exclamation Please, please, please help me!

    Hi all,
I'm an italian girl who studies languages at the university..
Im going to start writing my thesis in english linguistic: women's political way of speaking about conflict.

My question is, I should analize some speeches - C. Rice; M. Thatcher's ones - but I don't know where to start!
How can I do a linguistic analisys of these texts?

If someone here can help me,
    I'll be really thankful!

Well surely you're comparing women's speech with men's speech. You have two speeches written by people I assume to be women. Ideally you would have already read speeches written by men about conflict.
You read the speeches and analyse how the speeches by women are different from the speeches by men (or whether they are the same). I mean, don't you? There might be another agenda, but I can't think of one.
You're unfortunate in having to do a thesis at the beginning of your course. It's normally done at the end in English universities.
