pain due to hypersensivity of teeth

How do describe the pain that comes from hypersensitivity of teeth? ( Hypersensitivity of teeth is the ailment of teeth which comes after some age; when a person of this ailment eats or drinks cold foods, or sour and sweet foods, a kind of pain is experienced; it subsides once the food is swallowed down)

Is it correct to say, " my teeth are bothering from these foods that are not agreeable"?
