Smile "becoming an option for most people in the near future"

    Dear Teachers,

I am quite sure I understand the meaning of the following passate. Could someone please explain the following whole passage for me. Thank you very much!!!

Although Tito made history and paved the way for the future of space tourism, "factors such as cost, and the amount of training required, stand in the way of space vacations "becoming an option for most people in the near future."

Tito has opened the dorr for space tourism, but the costs and the amount of training involved mean that it will not be possible for most people to visit space- it costs millions to do it.
