Default Which of the two sentences is correct?

    Hello,

Which of the two sentences is correct:
    1. Stuntmen have lobbied Academy Awards for recognition since 2001.
    2. Stuntmen have lobbied Academy Awards since 2001 for recognition.

    1. Stuntmen have lobbied Academy Awards for recognition they deserved for since 2001.
    2. Stuntmen have lobbied Academy Awards since 2001 for recognition they deserved for.

Are there any grammatical rules to explain it?

Thanks a lot for your help.

1&2 are OK, though 1 sounds better and more natural.
3 is OK, but I'd say 'the recognition'here as it is specific.
The last one is a bit of a mess- the 'for' at the end is wrong. Without it, it would be OK.
