    article submission vs article submition

    Hi,

I’m confused – what is the correct expression: article submission or article submition ? Shouldn’t it be article submition? after all: submit articles, submitting articles, articles submition...

    Thanks.

    Hi gil45

    The correct spelling is submission
. It's a spelling borrowed from Old French submission, which came from the Latin participle submissus, which itself came from the Latin verb submittere.
