    I suppose so

'Aren't you pleased?' 'Yes, I suppose so.'

Is the second speaker pleased or not?

    Thanks!

By saying "I suppose so" the speaker means he's pleased but with some reservation, and it could be that the speaker is not really sure whether or not he or she is, in fact, pleased.
