Here I have two questions I trouble you to explain to me

    Hi Everyone,

Here I have two questions I trouble you to explain to me.

1.—what a nice meal! Thank you for having us.

    ---_________.

    A. It doesn’t matter B.It was a pleasure C.Not nice enough D.With pleasure

2.Professor White has written some short stories ,but he is _____ known for his plays.

    A.the best B.more C.better D.the most

The first multiquestion I remember is originally set in a paper of junior high school of our country. But now I have got trouble in finding it. I am feeling that there is something wrong with the sentence Thank you for having us ,esp the word “having”.Or is it possible that in front of having I have missed typing the word---- invited. If the sentence is right ,does it mean that Thank you for inviting us.

    Thank you all

"Thank you for having us" is short for "Thank you for having us over to your home."
