    Hi. I have a question about the following sentence: She admired the author whom you talked about in class. In the previous sentence, is whom the object of the preposition about? Thanks!

    Yes, it is.

    She admired the author about whom you talked in class. (very formal)

    She admired the author whom you talked about in class.

    She admired the author who you talked about in class. (informal)
