    letter to my sales head

    Sir,
    I had taken all my leaves on my credit on the 1st week of january 2009. Hence my all leaves are exausted any there will be no leaves in my credit. on 27th of october 2009, my leg got fractured and the doctor advised me to take complete bed rest for 10 days. During that time , when i was at home, coorinated with all my clients thriugh e-mail and over phone and materialized business . so please grand me leave on the said days as a special case

    [1] Preposition to is appropriate here, so delete on.

    [2] Preposition on is used before specific date and not with week, month or year. So use either during or in. You say: I was born in the year 1984.not on the year 1984

    [3] When describing past event use past form of the verb.

    [4] Use conjunction when to join the clause

    [5] Improve language to express in a natural way.
