    Default Teacher Assessment

    I am a teacher/coordinator and I am starting to do class visits. I was wondering does anyone have a good Assessment guideline to follow, or assessment points guide I can use to write on the teachers reports.

    The most effective way to assess a teacher is to take into consideration the following criteria:

    1-Knowledge: a-whether the teacher has a good command of oral and written English or not.
    b-Familiarity with the curriculum along with the documents.
    2-Skills( Know how to do):
    a-Plans learning.
    b-Elaborates learning situations(eg:sets clearly the learning objectives...etc)
    c-sets remedial work for the slow learners and follow up for the advanced ones.
    3-Attitudes( know how to be):
    a-Demonstrates positive attitudes towards stakeholders.
    b-demonstrates sense of responsibility.
    c-Demonstrates readiness for change and innovation.

    I hope this will help.
