Can anyone help me to chunk this sentence?

Can anyone help me to chunk this sentence? I am very confused in it, please help.
    The sentence is as follow:

Structures like bones and woods seems to be inactive, but they also contain living cells undergoing metabolic activities.

Please use "/" to chunk it. Thanks for your sincere help.

You need to parse the sentence, first. After you've done that, we'd be more than happy to help you out. I'll start for you,

    Structures (Subject)
    seem (Linking Verb)

    Hi! Casiopea,
My idea to chunk the sentence is in this way,
Structures/ like bones and woods/ seem to be inactive/, but/ they also contain/ living cells undergoing metabolic activities.
Is it the correct way to chunk the sentence? I am not familia with chunking, so I need your help. Thanks a lot.
