    Question Is this sentence correct?

Is the following sentence grammatically correct? Why?

If the weather is too cold, I would not go out.

    Thanks in advance

I think(I'm not sure), the correct form of the sentence is:

If the weather is too cold, I will not go out.

The reason is that the first part of it is in the present tense. So, the second part should also be in the present tense like the first one.

    Wait for others' opinion.

What you said is absolutely correct, but I was told -by a native speaker- that the above-mentioned sentence is correct. Actually, I want just to know whether the sentence sounds natural to native speakers or not.
