    Cool being worked hard

    What's the meaning of "being worked hard" referred to somebody who is bound for jail?

    The sentence: "He would be worked hard for a month in jail"

    Is this meaning: For a month, he would have a hard time in jail"?

    It suggest a sentence to prison with hard labour.
