    grammar questions

    Hi!

    The next quiz will be Tuesday, January 18, 2004, at the end of class. (Is it correct to put a comma after 2004)

    The time has come students, to celebrate your success.
    (Is it correct to put the comma after students)

    Considering I rarely say no; it is no wonder I'm so busy.
    (should there be a semicolon or comma)

    The package was delivered to your home in Austin, Texas, by UPS.
    (should there be a comma after Texas)

    Lungs are clear to ascultation bilaterally. (is the word (are) in the present tense.

    He has 2 major hurdles to accomplish before becoming a doctor: completing his residency; and passing the state exam.
    (Is this punctated correctly)

    Lungs are clear to ascultation bilaterally. ('Are' is present tense; I have no idea what the other words mean, but 'be clear to + noun is suspect grammar.)

    He has two major hurdles to cross before becoming a doctor: completing his residency and passing the state exam. ('hurdles' are not 'accomplished')
