    Default go back in time

    Are these sentences correct:

1-If we go back enough in time, our family lived like those rich people.
2-If we go back in time enough, our family lived like those rich people.
3-If we go back enough, our family lived like those rich people.

Your sentences don't sound natural. Here is a small correction:

If we went back in time long enough, our family lived like those (?) rich people.

The sentence is not very clear to me. Are you talking about the family back then or the rich people back then?

    Thanks Marilyn,
I am talking about the family back then. Our family was rich, but we lost our wealth. Now we are poor, byt back in time, we used to live like those people (let's say I am pointing at them) live now.

I think it would be simpler to say:
Back in time, our family lived like those rich people over there.

    Thanks, I get it now.
It's not too bad at all.
I would just change "over there" phrase to something else. If you use "over there" it sounds like you are literally pointing towards something. Also, we should make it clear who you have in mind.

Back in time, our family used to live like the rich people do nowadays.
