    Re: Help

    Hi

Mike learnt how to ski when he was five years old.

We use the past simple tense in 'when clauses.'

The bone was buried in the garden a few days ago.

It is the passive version of the sentence,

(Some one) buried the bone in the garden a few days ago.

1)Mike learnt how to ski when he was five years old. (It is clear that Mike is older than five years now. So we use past tense).
    a)learns
    b)has been learning
    c)learnt
    d)has learnt

2)The bone was buried in the garden a few days ago. ('ago' is a representation of distance in past. So the sentence should be a past tense in passive form).
    a)is buried
    b)had been buried
    c)was buried
    d)has been buried.
