    Default test correction

    how to correct an english test in an esl class? what are the strategies? how should i deal with common mistakes?

    What does "test correction" mean? As I understood you're planning to pass a test as an ESL class attendee. If I'm right, there are quite a lot of materials in the Internet and in bookshops. I think It would be the best way to get prepared.

    I believe the person is a teacher of English, and is asking for advice on correcting tests that (s)he has given to students.

    If so, wouldn't the post be more appropriate in the 'Teaching English' forum?

    I don't think the person is a teacher of English. The first sentence uses a structure that most intermediate students would have already corrected to "How do I ... ", "How do you..." or "How does one..." or "(Please) tell me how to ...".
