    Nipthisinthebud?

    "Nipthisinthebud"... (or "nip this in the bud", I don't even know)
    Does that mean that you should take no chances, or, I don't know, you have to hit something in the weak spot?!?

    nip it in the budmeans stop something/do something before it gets worse/gets out of hand.

    I've never heard "kill in the germ" as an idiom.
