    what is the meaning of "today is today."

    when someone says, "today is today." what does he really mean by that?

    today is today...don't dwell on the past too much...?, today will always be different from yesterday, perhaps it's not worth comparing the two.

    Without the context it's hard to pin point exactly what it means.
