    Am I right?

    1. They have made 200 workers redundant.
    200 workers have been made redundant.
    2. Has anyone fed the cat?
    Has the cat been fed?

    4. My purse has been stolen.
    Someone has stole my purse.
    5. They couldn`t move it.
    It couln`t be moved.

    7. The house will have to be sold.
    We`ll have to sell the house.
    8. I was told the train would be in 10 minutes late.

    I agree with Gwen except for:

    11. The police watching him closely.
    He is watched by the police.

    The word "closely" can still be used.

    He is being closely watched by the police.
    He is being watched closely by the police.

    I guess I wasn’t reading the last sentence closely enough.
