    Default worked on vs did

    Hi,

    Question:
    1) Does sentence 1 suggest "homework was finished after I left Tom's home"?
    2) Does sentence 2 suggest "homework was not finished after I left Tom's home"?

    Sentence1:
I stayed in Tomís home and I did my homework.
    Sentence2:
I stayed in Tomís home and I worked on my homework.

    Thanks

probably but you can't be sure
If you say 'I stayed in Tom's home and did all of my homework.', it is very clear the homework was finished.

    2) Does sentence 2 suggest "homework was not finished when I left Tom's home"?
    Yes, it suggests that.
If you say 'I stayed in Tom's home and did some of my homework.', it is very clear that the homework was not finished.

    Sentence1:
I stayed in Tom’s home and I did my homework.
    Sentence2:
I stayed in Tom’s home and I worked on my homework.

    Thanks
