if I work in / by working in

    Hi,

    Question:
Which sentence is sensible and grammatically correct?

    Sentence1:
My skills and abilities are most suitable for the IT department.
Therefore, I believe I can make my greatest contribution to you company if I work in the IT department.

    Sentence2:
My skills and abilities are most suitable for the IT department.
Therefore, I believe I can make my greatest contribution to you company by working in the IT department.

    Thanks
