Default 'on New Year', 'on/ at the New Year's Eve', 'on/ at the New Year's night'

What is the right variant to say - 'on New Year', 'on/ at the New Year's Eve', 'on/ at the New Year's night'? thamks!!!
For example: At the New Year night it was raining hard.
