    Needing

I just wanted to know if "needing" is a word? I have been having a dispute with my supervisor for some time. Thank you.

Have you ever get to check the links? Most of them leads to the definition of need. On those sites "needing" is only available as the inflected form of "need".

Does not even one reference indicate that is is a word? One needs the OP's context to know his problem.

The word "needing" is used quite a bit. (I imagine "need" would produce more results.)
