Hello.

This sentence below is about a dog.
I wonder what a warm furry tongue means exactly. Please help.

"With floppy ears and a waggy tail, and a soft wet nose, and a warm furry tongue."

Where did you find this? I've never heard of a dog having a furry tongue.

I've read this sentence in a picture book for children.
The picture of the tongue looks like a normal to me.

"I want a pet with PERSONALITY. I want a Dog."
"With floppy ears and a waggy tail, and a soft wet nose, and a warm furry tongue."

Can it mean "has little bumps on its tongue?

I think the author just means warm and soft, but is not a native English speaker. Afte all, a soft wet nose is also odd - dogs do not usually have soft noses.
