    Regarding formation of question

Is it right to use "did" in this question. "Did you face the dilemma when you used that term ?"

    Thanks

    Hi,

I'd say "Did you face any dilemma when you used that term/ wanted to use that term?"

OR: "Were you in any dilemma when.........?"

    Not a teacher....

***NOT a teacher***razer, you are 100% correct. "You faceD the dilemma ." / DID (because the question is in the past) you FACE (the base form -- or the form you look for in the dictionary --is ALWAYS used after do/does/did) the dilemma when you used that term? Thank you.
