    please is correct to say olympics which is asports festival takes
    place every four years.Or olymics are held every four years.Is olympics singular or plural ? please accept my regards

    In the UK, "Olympics" is always plural, always spelt with a capital letter and we always use "the" to precede the word........

    The Olympics were held in China in 2008.

    Our athletes are training hard for the next Olympics.
