I would like to ask to my supervisor if she has already contacted someone (within the academic researchers/specialists) who cn help me understand wear-traces on the materials I am studying. Is it correct and formal if I say: Have you already tried to concact someone who can help me understand wear-traces on my spearsheads?
Does it seem tht I want to rush her? Is there any more formal way to submit my request to her?

Thank you for your help

Cordially,
