    Use of apostrophe

    Hi there,

I have what I feel is a silly question, but I'm confusing myself over it, so I'd really appreciate any guidance!

In the following sentence where would the apostrophe go in the word "bankers"?

"I will then move onto the bankers problem in ensuring an effective balance between satisfying the desire to distribute..."

I'm talking about all bankers and thinking bankers' but like I said, am confusing myself.

    Many thanks!

    Re: Use of apostrophe

It must go after the word:
    bankers'
That's why the word has already an "s", so you have not to put other one, just add the apostrophe
You also can say: ( if you want to be mmore coloquial)

    Re: Use of apostrophe

Alc is right- if your talking about plural bankers, then put the apostrophe after the -s.
