In Egypt ,schools last for a six-month time.

We played a two –hour video game.

Are these right?

3. Is more difficult, it could be "We played a video game for between 2 and 4 hours." or "We played a video game from 2 o'clock until 4 o'clock".

Excuse me, but I thought that "a two-hour video game" was a video game that lasted 2 hours.
+ the 1st sentence lacks the article "a" and the hyphen.
He has a twenty-four-hour job.
For the rest, they are all correct.

Except there should be no spaces before commas and one space after them.
I meant grammatically!
