The whole thing started in the USA. It is real funny to see some Chinese are talking about Toyota and China regarding consumer rights, apology and so on. Where have you guys been when our U.S. friends did not say anything about Toyota? Now it seems you wake up all of a sudden and do something like a Chinese saying goes: throw rocks into the well at the disgraced. Pathetic is not Toyota, it is you!
Please check if there is anything to improve regarding syntax and grammar, especially the last sentence. Thank you.
Background introduction: Toyota is now targeted in China as well. This is evidently infected from what is happening in the USA. An Internet post tries to criticize the Chinese situation, for the Chinese are following blindly the U.S. way regardless of the fact that no fatality has been reported linking to the malfunction of the make.
***NOT A TEACHER***
Maybe something like: The whole thing started in the United States.
It is very (or "really") funny to see some Chinese talking about consumer rights and demanding an apology.
Where were you guys when our American friends were silent about Toyota?
Now you wake up and suddenly, as the Chinese saying goes, start throwing rocks into the well at the disgraced.
It is you who are pathetic, not Toyota.
