    Default could you help me to explain this meaning?

    could you explain more about the figurative meaning of the words "piquant" and "putrid". and so me how to use this. thanks so lot!

    These words mean two different things.
    1) the basic meaning of the word 'piquant' is related to taste. Piquance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    It can also mean 'provocative in an attractive way'.

    2) 'putrid' means 'rotten'. A human body can be putrid. It can also be 'rotten morally' as in putrid thoughts.
