    You can use it like this:
    Arrange them in order of importance.

    I believe mmasny has explained the most common use of "In order of..."

    But I thank you for the link. The section called "In Order of Stupidity" is, as we would say, a hoot (that is, incredibly funny.) I also recommend it to all those who are studying English. Enjoy!
