    asking

    Dear all,

Please let me know by return with thanks for the meaning of the below sentence:
I've picked up the words that i hope will cause least confusion to those who don't go through life with hammer and tongs.
As for me, it's difficult to have a full understanding about " go through life with hammer and tongs". Is that it have an idiomatic meaning??

Thanks in advance for your kind help.
    Best regards,
    Mayflower

    Re: asking

Hammer and tongs means they are always arguing.
