    Sentence structure and grammar

    I would like to seek someone comments for the following sentences. Thanks

    1. Compressor was found and identified as failure in a refrigerator

    2. Subsequent tests and inspections conducted by maintenance contractor, it is recommended that the compressor need to be replaced to avoid any interruption in the functioning of the restaurant and to ensure the refrigerator is working correctly.

    Try this..

    Subsequent tests and inspections conducted by the maintenance contractor recommends that the compressor needs to be replaced, to avoid any interruption of the functioning restaurant, and also to ensure that the refrigerator is functioning right.

    Please rectify any mistakes made..

    The compressor was identified as the source of the failure of the refrigerator.

    After tests and inspections that were performed by the maintenance contractor, we recommend replacing the compressor to avoid ... [the rest is okay].
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
