    Cool Some missing Words

    Some missing Words


    Hi every one
    How are you today?

    I have sentences missing a words and I think they are idioms but I’m not sure
    I wish you can help me in them
    I will write the question to let you understand what is really they need

    Let’s start:

    Fill in the gabs then match each expression with the meaning on the right.

    1) I’m afraid I put my ……………….. in it.

    Nonetheless, you won't find anyone who will simply GIVE you the answers. I will give you a big clue. The answer to each and every question is a part of the body and yes, they are all idioms.

    For instance (here is one answer): to keep your nose clean = to keep out of trouble.

    What is it with nose and trouble? Nose is also associated with trouble in Turkish. But it's quite hard to understand when it comes to picture how a person's nose makes trouble literally?
