I need help on a sentence please

    Hello,

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. My mother tongue isn't English and I'm applying for an internship in a firm, and I need to write my resume in English. I would really appreciated if a native speaker could tell me if the following sentence is correct:

(under the "Objective" section of my resume)
To join a well-experienced team and put into practice my academic knowledge by sharing my creativity and strong interest in research and development of state-of-the-art products.

--> Are there any mistakes? Would you say that differently? Also, I'm not sure if I should rather say "interested in THE research and development of state-of-the-art products"...?

    Thanks in advance!

    I'd say 'the research...'
